About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced

Production Manager

to lead and oversee daily operations in our

sheet metal manufacturing unit

. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in managing high-precision production environments, preferably in the

automobile or defence industry

.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all production activities to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets. Operate and manage machine processes including: Power Press Shearing Machine CNC Press Brake CNC Laser Cutting Machine Welding Operations Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings accurately. Recruit, arrange, and manage required manpower/labour for smooth production flow. Ensure product quality, process accuracy, and timely deliveries. Coordinate with maintenance team and possess basic maintenance knowledge for quick troubleshooting. Maintain production records, reports, and documentation with good computer proficiency. Oversee painting processes and ensure proper finishing standards. Coordinate with other departments (Quality, Design, Purchase, Dispatch) for seamless operations. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and 5S standards.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum

15 years of experience

in

sheet metal fabrication

or related manufacturing industries. Strong understanding of production planning, workflow management, and machine operations. Experience in

automobile or defence manufacturing

is highly preferred. Ability to lead and motivate production teams effectively. Good communication and computer skills. Knowledge of painting processes (powder coating/industrial painting). Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
