We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Manager to oversee our daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes run efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing people, optimizing workflows, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and control the production process to meet quality, quantity, and cost targets.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
Supervise and lead production teams; provide coaching, performance feedback, and training.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Monitor production metrics (output, downtime, waste, etc.) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to optimize workflow.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.) to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Maintain accurate production reports and analyze data to improve operational efficiency.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with supply chain teams.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize machine downtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in a production or manufacturing management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
