Minimum

10+ years

as Production Manager in pharmaceutical manufacturing

Industry:

Pharma - Formulations (Tablets, Capsules, Oral Liquids, Ointments)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for

production operations

of

tablets, capsules, oral liquids, ointments and semi-solid formulations

. Ensure

smooth day-to-day production planning, execution and control

to meet targets as per quality and timeline. Maintain compliance with

cGMP, WHO-GMP, Schedule M

, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure

approval, implementation and compliance

of all production-related documents including

BMR, BPR, SOPs, MFRs, validation protocols

. Coordinate with

QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs

departments. Handle

regulatory audits and inspections

(WHO-GMP, ISO, Drug Inspector, customer audits). Ensure

proper utilization of manpower, machines and materials

to minimize wastage and improve productivity. Monitor and control

yield, deviations, change controls, OOS, CAPA

related to production. Responsible for

process validation, equipment qualification and scale-up activities

. Ensure

safety, housekeeping and discipline

in production areas. Train, guide and evaluate

production staff and supervisors

. Prepare and review

daily, weekly and monthly production reports

for management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

pharmaceutical manufacturing processes

Hands-on experience in

solid, liquid and semi-solid dosage forms

Sound understanding of

regulatory guidelines & documentation

Leadership, team handling and problem-solving skills Good coordination and communication skills

Qualification:

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc

(Pharmaceutical or related discipline)
