Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the production operations of our transformers manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, and deliver on schedule, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities Production Planning and Coordination

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and project deadlines. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure a seamless production process. Optimize the workflow, ensuring efficient use of machinery, materials, and labor.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Ensure transformers meet all technical specifications and industry quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control measures at every stage of production. Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry certifications, such as ISO standards.

Team Management

Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance and morale. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Resource Management

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent material shortages or overstocking. Manage and maintain production equipment, ensuring timely maintenance to avoid downtime. Identify and address inefficiencies in production processes.

Budget and Cost Control

Prepare and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor production costs, implement cost-saving measures, and minimize waste.

Problem Solving and Reporting

Resolve production issues such as delays, equipment failures, or quality concerns promptly. Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in productivity and product quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in production management within a transformers or electrical equipment manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards. Proficiency in production management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems). Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
