Profile- Production Manager

Qualification - B.Tech- Mechanical

Experience - Min. 8+ yrs. in Automobile industry in production department.

Salary- Upto 7 Lac CTC

Location- Jaipur (Raj.)

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

Allocate resources (manpower, machines, and materials) effectively.

Ensure timely completion of production targets.

Operations Management

Supervise assembly line and machining operations.

Monitor production processes to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Optimize machine utilization and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, etc.).

Work closely with the QA team to minimize rejections and rework.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Manpower Management

Lead, train, and motivate shop floor supervisors and operators.

Resolve manpower issues and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability.

Cost & Inventory Control

Monitor production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.

Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials and consumables.

Control wastage and implement lean manufacturing practices.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure statutory compliance.

Conduct regular safety drills and training for employees.

Ensure compliance with environmental norms.

Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with design, R&D, procurement, and maintenance teams.

Provide regular production reports to senior management.

Suggest improvements in process flow, layouts, and automation.
