We are looking for an experienced

Production Manager

to oversee the manufacturing of our premium wood carving furniture at Hare Krishna Art. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of

furniture design, production processes, and artisan management

, ensuring that every piece meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

The role requires balancing

design knowledge, labor management, and production planning

, while ensuring smooth workflow, timely deliveries, and effective utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage

day-to-day production activities

in the factory. Coordinate with

design team

to translate drawings into actual production. Manage

skilled artisans and labor teams

, ensuring productivity and discipline. Oversee

wood selection, carving processes, finishing, and assembly

of furniture. Ensure

quality control

at every stage of production. Maintain and monitor

production timelines

to meet client orders. Handle

inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment

. Ensure workplace

safety, cleanliness, and maintenance

of machines. Report to management with

production updates, challenges, and solutions

. Suggest improvements in

design, efficiency, and cost optimization

.

Requirements:

Proven experience in

furniture manufacturing/wood carving production management

. Knowledge of

designing (AutoCAD/Sketches/Manual drafting)

. Strong ability to

handle labor and manage artisan teams

. Understanding of

materials, carving techniques, polishing, and finishing methods

. Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work under deadlines and maintain production standards.
