About the Role

As Production Manager, you will lead the daily production activities across multiple departments such as cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing. Your focus will be on meeting delivery timelines, maintaining product quality, and optimizing resource utilization. This role is critical to our operational backbone and requires a leader who can manage the floor with confidence, clarity, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily production schedules. Supervise operations across cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing departments. Track WIP and ensure proper line balancing. Coordinate with merchandising, QA, and stores for material and order flow Monitor and minimize rework, rejections, and downtime. Maintain daily production reports, MIS, and efficiency tracking. Implement 5S and basic lean manufacturing practices. Allocate manpower based on order and production priorities. Ensure adherence to quality standards (AQL, inline/final inspections) Conduct floor meetings and address on-ground issues proactively Uphold safety and compliance standards on the shop floor.

Required Skills

1-3 years of hands-on experience in garment/textile production Knowledge of garment construction, machine handling, and production flow Ability to manage production lines and team of operators/supervisors. Exposure to production planning, WIP tracking, and T&A calendars Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S methodology Strong communication, team management, and problem-solving skills
Working Days: 6 days/week (or as per company policy)
