The Production Manager R&D is responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of the industrial production process, particularly in the area of battery packs. The manager will be involved in the entire production process, from planning and scheduling to quality control and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
? Production Management: Oversee the entire production process, from planning to
completion, ensuring all goals are met. This includes creating and managing production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation.
? Technical Expertise: Utilise expertise in battery pack assembling, production
management, and installation.
? Design and Analysis: Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and
thermal and structural analysis, including FEA, CFD, stress analysis, etc.
? Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and work with the procurement department to ensure all required materials are available.
? Quality & Safety: Determine and enforce quality control standards and ensure all health and safety regulations are met.
? Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
? Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the production team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
? Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
Required Skills & Expertise
? Technical Skills: Expertise in 3D modeling, drafting using software like
SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
? Process Knowledge: Hands-on knowledge of prototyping, testing, and validation
methods.
? Product Development: Familiarity with the concept-to-prototype cycle, DFM, DFA, and reliability engineering.
? Standards & Safety: Awareness of industry-specific standards such as ISO and IEC.
? Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
? Innovation: Exposure to patent research and advanced manufacturing technologies
Salary Range
?45,000 to ?50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
