Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive
Production Coordinator / Manager
to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our photography and media production projects. This role serves as the crucial link between business development, photography, studio and editing teams to ensure that photoshoots are executed flawlessly, on time, and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate photoshoots from initial concept through final delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the liaison between sales, photography, editing, studio, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
Timeline Management:
Create and maintain production timelines; monitor project progress and address any delays or bottlenecks promptly.
Resource Allocation:
Manage resources including photographers, studios, equipment, and editing teams to optimize workflow and productivity.
Quality Control:
Work closely with creative teams to ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
Problem Solving:
Anticipate potential issues in the production process and implement solutions quickly to keep projects on track.
Budget Management (optional):
Assist with budget planning and cost tracking related to photography projects.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports on project status to management and clients as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
:
Proven experience in production coordination or management within photography, media, advertising, or related creative fields.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between diverse teams.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
Basic understanding of photography and post-production/editing workflows.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project) and collaboration platforms.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Experience working in a creative agency or media production company.
Familiarity with budgeting and contract management.
