Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the company\'s production processes and ensuring that production goals are met. The Production Manager is expected to develop policies and procedures to increase efficiency, manage resources, and communicate with other departments to ensure that the production processes run smoothly. The Production Manager will be required to work full-time on-site at the Upkar Pharmaceutical - India facility in Paonta Sahib. Qualifications Knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical industry regulations Experience with process improvement and optimization techniques Experience in managing production schedules, budgets, and resources Strong leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related fields Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role Experience with sterile manufacturing processes and facilities is highly desirable Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems is desirable
