Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales and inventory requirements. Allocate jobs and manage production lines (cutting, ruling, folding, binding, packing). Monitor WIP (Work In Progress) and ensure minimal downtime.

Manpower & Shift Management

Manage shift-wise labor allocation (permanent and contract workers). Supervise line staff, machine operators, and technicians. Ensure productivity, discipline, and safety across all shifts.

Machine & Equipment Oversight

Ensure proper functioning of production machinery (e.g., ruling machines, binding lines, cutting units). Plan preventive maintenance with the engineering team. Minimize machine breakdowns and production loss.

Quality Control & Compliance

Ensure notebooks meet internal and customer quality standards. Coordinate with QA/QC team for process checks and inspections. Implement corrective actions on quality complaints or deviations.

Inventory & Material Management

Coordinate with stores and procurement for timely availability of raw materials (paper, covers, binding materials, etc.). Ensure proper use and minimal wastage of raw materials.

Production Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily production reports, machine-wise output logs, and shift reports. Monitor key metrics like yield, scrap, downtime, and output per shift.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to factory safety norms and labor laws. Conduct safety drills and maintain compliance with local industrial regulations.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
