Job Description

Qualification : Degree in Lifescience + 5 years experience

A production supervisor is responsible for managing the workflow on a production floor, including assigning tasks to employees, monitoring their performance, ensuring quality standards are met, overseeing equipment maintenance, and coordinating production schedules to achieve efficiency targets, all while prioritizing safety regulations. Key duties and responsibilities of a production supervisor:

Staff Management:

Assigning tasks and responsibilities to production team members. Coaching and training new employees. Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback. Addressing employee concerns and resolving issues. Creating and managing employee work schedules.

Production Oversight:

Monitoring production output to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks. Implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency. Maintaining accurate production records and reports.

Quality Control:

Performing quality checks on products throughout the production process. Implementing quality control measures to minimize defects. Investigating and addressing quality issues

Equipment Management:

Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of production equipment. Scheduling routine equipment maintenance and repairs. Identifying and addressing equipment malfunctions

Safety Compliance:

Enforcing safety procedures and regulations on the production floor. Conducting safety training for employees Investigating and reporting safety incidents

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicating production status updates to management Collaborating with other departments like quality control and maintenance Addressing production issues with relevant stakeholders
