Production Manager - SS Vessel Manufacturing (Fabrication)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with strong expertise in

stainless steel (SS) vessel manufacturing and fabrication

. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising fabrication activities to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and control

fabrication and production activities

for SS vessels, tanks, reactors, pressure vessels, and related equipment Manage day-to-day shop floor operations including

cutting, forming, welding, grinding, and finishing

Interpret

engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings

Coordinate with

design, quality, procurement, and project teams

to meet production schedules Ensure compliance with

ASME, ASTM, ISO, and client specifications

Monitor

material usage, manpower planning, productivity, and cost control

Supervise welding activities (TIG/MIG/ARC), WPS/PQR adherence, and welder performance Implement

quality control procedures

, inspections, and documentation Ensure

safety regulations

and housekeeping standards are strictly followed Resolve production issues, rework, and bottlenecks efficiently Prepare

daily/weekly production reports

and review progress against targets Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of

SS grades (SS 304, 316, 316L, etc.)

Expertise in

welding processes

(GTAW/TIG, SMAW, GMAW/MIG) Familiar with

NDT methods

(RT, UT, PT, MT) Knowledge of

production planning, routing, and scheduling

Ability to use

ERP systems, MS Excel, and production tracking tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
