Job Title: Production Manager Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced, results?driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing/ production operations, ensure quality standards, meet delivery deadlines, and drive efficiency while keeping safety and cost control a priority. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plan & Schedule - Create and maintain production schedules, aligning with demand forecasts and inventory levels. - Optimize workflow, allocate resources (manpower, machinery, materials) efficiently. 2. Supervise Operations - Monitor production lines, ensure smooth running of processes, and troubleshoot issues in real time. - Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors and operators; manage shift handovers. 3. Quality & Compliance - Enforce quality control checks, adhere to SOPs, and meet industry safety & regulatory standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.). - Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). 4. Cost & Efficiency - Track KPIs: OEE, yield, scrap rates, labor cost, on?time delivery. - Reduce waste, improve productivity, and manage budgetary controls. 5. Reporting & Collaboration - Provide daily/weekly production reports to senior management. - Liaise with procurement, logistics, R&D, and sales to sync material flow and delivery timelines. 6. Safety & Environment - Ensure a safe work environment, conduct safety drills, and enforce PPE compliance. - Monitor environmental policies (waste disposal, energy usage). Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (MBA a plus). - 5+ years of progressive production/operations management experience (preferably in [relevant industry, e.g., FMCG, electronics, textiles]). - Proven track record of meeting production targets, cost reduction, and process improvement. - Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies. - Excellent leadership, problem?solving, and decision?making skills. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to work flexible hours, handle pressure, and adapt to shift dynamics.
