We are a 55-years old Mumbai based company in manufacturing and distribution of clamps for Auto and

non auto companies in India and overseas. We also have strong presence in distribution channel all over

India.

Work Location: Vasai East, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

o Ensure discipline and adherence to production schedules on the shop floor.

o Monitor the availability of raw materials, coordinate with concerned departments, and

ensure stock levels meet production requirements.

o Develop and implement shop floor plans in coordination with Sales and PPC teams.

o Ensure production realization with high-quality output.

2. Resource Management:

o Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are maintained and ready for production.

o Supervise and ensure operators and supervisors are adequately trained and competent.

o Optimize plant utilization, manpower, and other resources.

o Control and reduce process waste, scrap, rejections, and throughput time.

3. Quality and Compliance:

o Resolve production and quality-related issues promptly.

o Ensure all production processes adhere to SOPs, control plans, and quality standards.

o Maintain detailed production reports and document process deviations.

4. Continuous Improvement:

o Deploy tools like Kaizen, problem-solving techniques, and other improvement initiatives.

o Drive innovative strategies to enhance production processes and efficiency.

o Implement and sustain 5S practices on the shop floor.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Coordinate with Maintenance, IT, Admin, Dispatch, and Tool Maintenance departments.

o Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure smooth operations.

6. Leadership and People Management:

o Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly review meetings.

o Lead and develop supervisors through training and mentorship.

o Promote a motivated and collaborative work environment.

o Manage disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and capability hearings.

7. Budget and Financial Management:

o Contribute to budget planning by reviewing financial data related to operations.

o Ensure adherence to budgeted resource allocation.

8. Safety and Compliance:

o Enforce safety practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental

policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Production or Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and lean manufacturing
practices.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in the sheet metal or automotive industry. Proficiency in using ERP systems and production management tools. Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
