PRODUCTION MANAGER
Production Manager will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be accountable and authorized for the following:
Education:
ITI/ Diploma/ Degree (Engineering)
Experience:
5 Yearsworking Experience in Engineering/ Manufacturing Workshop
Responsible for/authorized to:
a) Monitor and manage workshop loadings, direct labour hours, overtime, rework, scrap, on time deliveries, downtime, work efficiencies and ensure all measurements are within plans.
b) Initiate weekly production meeting to provide status update to the Sales and all relevant departments and iron out production issues.
c) Implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency while constantly reviewing and monitoring the outcome of the implementation.
d) Workcloselywith all Workshop Foreman/ Operations Engineer to formulate shop floor production plans and optimize production hours and weekly planned hours ensuring on time delivery.
e) Identify the skill level of each production employees and distribute suitable work tasks to achieve higher throughput.
f) Identify bottle-neck situations, resolve and arrange manpower to tackle affected areas.
g) Manage and resolve grievances and conflicts arising. Motivate employees to boost their morale.
h) Work with Operations Manager, Quality Coordinator and HR department to develop, implement and conduct training to enhance the competency or upgrading of skills for production employees.
i) Review and manage workshop and maintenance issues.
j) Conduct job interview and hire new employees to fulfil manpower requirement.
k) Work with all Workshop Foreman to conduct annual performance appraisal for all production employees.
l) Work closely with Quality Coordinator & MR to resolve quality issues and production non-conformances.
m) Establish and maintain safe work practices and procedures.
n) Perform Cold Roll & phosphating (Special Process) on required parts.
Accountability
a) Ensure on time delivery of finished product.
b) Minimize rework and rejection rate.
c) Ensure responsiveness to enquiries.
d) Work with the team to achieve Quality objectives.
e) Maintain good housekeeping at all times.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
