Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising CNC and VMC machining operations to ensure high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective production. This role oversees machine utilization, process optimization, team management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule CNC/VMC production orders to meet delivery timelines.
Allocate resources (machines, tools, manpower) efficiently.
Supervise CNC and VMC operators, programmers, and support staff.
Review and approve CNC programs and tool paths for accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC/VMC machines.
Implement lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and improve productivity.
Monitor daily production output, downtime, and efficiency; prepare reports for management.
Coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve dimensional or quality issues.
Maintain compliance with safety and workplace regulations.
Train and mentor team members on new processes, machines, or technologies.

Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent controllers).
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM) preferred.
Understanding of GD&T, precision machining tolerances, and tool selection.
