Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of production operations to achieve operational excellence, quality compliance, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production planning, budgeting, capacity utilization, and resource optimization across operations.
Drive productivity, waste reduction, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, statutory requirements, and health & safety norms.
Oversee maintenance strategy, equipment upgrades, and manpower planning.
Collaborate with Quality, Technical, and Commercial teams to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.
Monitor performance metrics, analyze production data, and report to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate production teams to build a high-performance culture.
Decision Authority
Approve production plans, manpower deployment, and operational improvements.
Authorize rejection of non-conforming products and corrective actions.
Experience & Qualification
7-10 years of progressive experience in production leadership within manufacturing/industrial organizations.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
