Job Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process for our Agri Food Processing Machinery, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role involves managing production teams, optimizing workflows, and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet demand and quality standards.
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Manage production resources, including equipment, facilities, and personnel, to maximize efficiency.
Implement and enforce quality control programs and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Monitor productivity rates and product standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Liaise with procurement, design, and sales departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
Analyze production data and prepare reports on performance for management.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a Production Management role, preferably within the agricultural machinery or heavy fabrication industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Must be a male candidate from Ambala.
