Plan and organize production schedules based on sales forecast and inventory requirements.
Oversee day-to-day operations in rice flour, puttupodi, and spices ..production units.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials to achieve daily targets.
Maintain product quality standards as per FSSAI and company specifications.
Implement and monitor GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards in the production process.
Coordinate with QA/QC team for quality checks and corrective actions.
Ensure maintenance of machinery through preventive maintenance schedules.
Monitor production yields, wastage levels, and initiate cost-saving measures.
Manage workforce discipline, productivity, and training needs.
Maintain accurate production records, daily reports, and inventory data.
Ensure timely packing and dispatch coordination with warehouse and logistics.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean or Kaizen initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Key Requirements:
Graduate / Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical, or any relevant discipline.
Minimum 10-15 years
of experience in FMCG food production (rice flour, puttupodi, spices preferred).
Strong knowledge of food processing standards and machinery.
Hands-on experience in team handling and shift management.
Good understanding of quality and safety standards in food manufacturing.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
