Job Summary:

We are hiring a

Production Manager

for our manufacturing plant in Jalna, specializing in

tiles and stone fixing solutions

. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure consistent product quality, and lead a team to meet operational and business goals efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in the production of adhesives, grouts, sealants, and other related materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Production Planning and Execution

Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer and sales demands. Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Implement strategies to reduce downtime and improve plant productivity.
2.

Team Leadership

Supervise and motivate production teams including supervisors, operators, and technicians. Provide training and development to strengthen team performance. Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3.

Resource and Inventory Management

Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and raw materials. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials and packaging are available. Monitor usage and minimize wastage.
4.

Quality Assurance

Ensure production complies with industry standards for tiles and stone fixing products. Maintain and enforce quality control processes. Investigate and resolve quality issues proactively.
5.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed. Promote a safe work environment and conduct safety audits. Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
6.

Process Improvement

Lead Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Identify opportunities for innovation in product and process design. Improve customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality products.

Experience

Minimum 2 to 6 years experience in production or plant operations, preferably in building materials, adhesives, or chemicals industry.

Skills:

Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
