Job Description

Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels

Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime

Oversee the workforce of all the employees in the manufacturing department

Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines

Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines

Ensure all employees follow ISO Standard certification norms

Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel

Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees

Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management

Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity

Hire, train, and supervise production employees, such as assemblers, packers and equipment operators

Create work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate manufacturing activities

Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards

Evaluate employees' performance and coach production teams

Collaborate with quality control team to ensure finished goods meet quality standards

Monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines

Review and audit production processes to identify strategies for improvement

Prepare production reports for senior management

Relevant Experience: 6 - 10 years

Age limit - 35- 40 years

Education - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/Production Engineering

Previous experience in production or manufacturing management

Language - Hindi and English

Team player

Decisive

Good social and communication skills

Attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office and ERP software

Experience in reporting on key production metrics
