Job Title: Production Manager - Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Company



Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead our pressure vessel & other speciality manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing a skilled team, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:



Production Oversight:

Lead, supervise, and manage a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and production targets.
Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Address any production issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that pressure vessels meet all required specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to address any product defects and implement corrective actions.
Continuously monitor and improve production processes to enhance product quality and reliability.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, lean manufacturing principles, and best practices.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve operational excellence.

Resource Management:

Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth production flow.
Implement effective workforce planning and talent development strategies to maintain a skilled and motivated team.

Health and Safety:

Enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.

Supply Chain Management:

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
Optimize inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Reporting and Communication:

Generate regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management review.
Foster open communication and collaboration across departments to ensure seamless production processes.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Participate in budget planning and cost analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost control.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (15+ years) in operations management within a pressure vessel manufacturing or similar industry.

Strong knowledge of pressure vessel manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. Proficiency in process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is preferred. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
