Key Responsibilities

Production Management

Plan and schedule production of

air horns, compressors, diaphragms, valves, trumpets

, and assemblies as per sales demand v/s tenetative sales plan Ensure

daily production targets

are met with optimum utilization of manpower and machines. Coordinate with

tool room, maintenance, and quality teams

to avoid downtime. Implement

process improvements

, cycle time reduction, and scrap control. Monitor

OEE, rejection levels, rework, and productivity

. Ensure compliance with

the industrial standars.

Manage production documentation, BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Plan inbound logistics for

raw materials

(brass, steel, plastic, rubber, compressors, fittings). Manage

inventory levels

(RM, WIP, FG) to avoid shortages or excess stock. Coordinate outbound logistics for

domestic and export dispatches

. Ensure proper

packing, labeling, and palletization

as per customer requirements. Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier partners. Track dispatch schedules and ensure

on-time delivery (OTD)

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

Coordinate with purchase team for timely availability of materials. Monitor supplier delivery performance and quality issues. Support vendor development for cost and lead time reduction.

People & Team Management

Supervise production supervisors, line leaders, storekeepers, and logistics staff. Conduct training on

process discipline, safety, and 5S

. Handle manpower planning, shift allocation, and performance monitoring.

Cost & Compliance

Control production and logistics costs. Ensure compliance with

statutory, safety, and environmental norms

. Support audits (customer, ISO/IATF, internal).

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Experience:

5-10 years in automotive manufacturing (preferably horns, electricals, or accessories) Strong knowledge of

production planning, inventory control, and logistics

Familiar with

automotive standards (IATF / ISO)

ERP / Excel / MIS reporting skills Leadership and problem-solving skills

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
