Job Summary

The Production & Order Manager is responsible for managing complete jewellery orders from order confirmation to final production and dispatch. This role ensures smooth coordination between order processing, production planning, quality control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, review, and confirm jewellery orders (design, size, metal, stone, quantity) Prepare order sheets and production instructions Plan and manage daily and monthly production schedules Coordinate with CAD, casting, setting, polishing, and finishing teams Monitor production progress and track work-in-progress (WIP) Ensure quality checks at every production stage Handle order changes, priority orders, and urgent deliveries Coordinate with QC and dispatch teams before shipment Maintain accurate records of orders (pending, in-process, completed) Control material usage and reduce wastage and rework Resolve production or order-related issues promptly Communicate order status with sales / e-commerce / export teams Ensure timely delivery as per committed timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in jewellery manufacturing and order management Strong knowledge of jewellery production processes Excellent coordination and communication skills High attention to detail and time management Ability to handle pressure and multiple orders Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP preferred)

Preferred Experience

Experience in gold / silver / diamond or lab-grown diamond jewellery Factory or workshop management experience
