DESIGNATION : Production Manager for Siemens CVD Area, Polysilicon Plant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to Manage and evaluate multiple Siemens CVD reactors with optimum resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
Support plant manager in annual budgeting exercise and strive to reduce operating cost and increase in productivity across multiple CVD reactors.
Establish workflow policies in CVD Building that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety and integrity.
Ensure flawless execution of critical activities such as filament fixing and harvesting of rods considering all associated risks that could lead to process interruptions or hazards.
Oversees the Siemens CVD production process and coordinates with upstream & downstream units to ensure enough resources on hand.
Ensure implementation of operational discipline and HSEF procedures on the plant floor.
Coordinate PSM initiatives at the plants (MSDS, P&ID updating, MOC tracking, Up todate documentation).
Support the plant manager in ensuring compliance and improvements to norms andstandard.
Prepare /Review MIS (Variance reports) and Management review presentations.
Material coordination and purchase of chemicals, catalyst and consumables.
To lead shutdown planning.
Provide guidelines to eliminate quality deviations and contribute to process studiesfor equipment failure. Ensure correction of key repetitive process deviationsthrough Root cause Analysis and also ensure that maintenance failures areaddressed thru RCA.
Plan improvement trials w.r.t higher throughput, change of raw material, betteryield, lower energy consumption and new products & packaging , less downtime w.r.t. maintenance and set-up time.
Communicate instructions through plant rack-up, review meetings, and provide direction to shift staff and deputies.
Ensure shift staff competency as per training system needs.
Train and develop day superintendent / engineer as a successor to for production manager.
