Job Title: Production Manager - Plastic Injection Moulding

Role Overview:

The Production Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing plastic injection moulding operations to ensure production targets, cost efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved. This role requires strong technical expertise in plastic moulding materials and processes, along with the ability to coordinate across departments to drive plant profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee plastic injection moulding operations using materials such as ABS, PC, PP, HDPE, Nylon, etc. Ensure production targets are consistently achieved within set timelines. Monitor and maintain departmental efficiency to ensure optimal capacity utilization. Coordinate with inter-plant and cross-functional teams to align production with organizational goals. Monitor manpower utilization and ensure cost per helmet/manpower cost does not exceed budgetary limits. Uphold strict adherence to quality standards, ensuring zero compromise in product quality. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Contribute actively to overall plant profitability through cost control and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Plastics Engineering from CIPET or any reputed institute. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding processes. Familiarity with various plastics materials (ABS, PC, PP, HDPE, Nylon, etc.). 10-15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment (helmets/automotive/consumer goods preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical and process knowledge of injection moulding. Analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on continuous improvement. Ability to manage production teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Cost-conscious mindset with focus on quality and efficiency. Strong communication and team management skills.
