Oversee end-to-end plant operations to ensure smooth production flow
Develop and implement production plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Monitor KPIs such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
2. Food Product Development
Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to support new product trials and scale-up
Optimize recipes and processes for cost-effectiveness and quality consistency
Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences to guide innovation
3. Manpower Planning & Team Leadership
Plan and allocate manpower across shifts to maximize productivity
Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance
Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development initiatives
4. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for timely dispatch of finished goods
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation for dispatch activities
Resolve bottlenecks in outbound logistics and improve turnaround times
5. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Implement lean manufacturing practices and drive cost reduction initiatives
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence to ISO, HACCP, and other quality systems
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in managing food production operations at a mid-to-large scale plant
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
Excellent communication and team management abilities
