Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly production plans to meet customer and business requirements.
Monitor production workflow and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with supply chain, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
Team Management
Supervise and lead production supervisors, operators, and shop-floor staff.
Conduct training, performance evaluations, and skill development programs.
Enforce discipline, attendance, and productivity standards.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all products meet quality specifications and industry standards.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Reduce production costs, waste, and downtime through continuous improvement initiatives.
Optimize resource utilization (materials, manpower, machines).
Safety & Maintenance
Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate production reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
Present regular updates to management on production performance, challenges, and improvement plans.
3. Required QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
Experience
3+ years of experience in manufacturing/production, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource optimization.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM.
Ability to analyze data and solve complex operational problems.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
