Production Manager (Alloy)

Location: Ludhiana

Salary: ?10 LPA to ?12 LPA

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Oversee complete Production & Planning operations for Alloy/Extrusion units

Prepare daily overall plant reports (Extrusion - Alloy) and report directly to the MD

Handle manpower effectively across departments

Responsible for product costing and resource optimization

Set and track monthly production and foundry targets

Monitor performance of all departments: Production, Tool Room, Foundry, Maintenance

Conduct Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) with incharges and supervisors regularly

Participate in Management Review Meetings (MRMs) with MD on a quarterly basis

Implement measures for improving productivity and recovery

Monitor chemical composition reports and analyze them against customer requirements and standards

Review and manage ageing reports based on tempering (T5, T6, etc.)

Manage customer handling and ensure satisfaction

Basic understanding of purchase and dispatch operations

Lead and motivate team members to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals

Perform full managerial functions: interviewing, hiring, coaching, task assignment, performance review, and budgeting

In-depth knowledge of aluminium extruded profiles, alloy specifications, and quality standards

Well-versed with ISO procedures and standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Automotive IATF-16949
