The Production Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day machining operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met.
The role requires strong exposure to CNC machining, CAM programming, and shop-floor execution in casting and tool manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage machining production operations (VMC & Turning Centers)
Plan and execute daily and monthly production schedules
Ensure achievement of production, quality, and delivery targets
Support CAM programming and machining process optimization
Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, and productivity
Reduce rejections, rework, and downtime
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and NPD teams
Ensure adherence to safety and shop-floor discipline
Manage manpower allocation and shift planning
Skill Requirements
Strong machining background with VMC & Turning Centers
Working knowledge of CAM programming
Experience in casting or tool manufacturing industries
Exposure to aluminium and cast iron components
Understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters
Knowledge of production planning, OEE, and rejection control
Ability to manage shop-floor teams and multi-shift operations
Experience & Qualification
8-10 years of manufacturing experience
Minimum 3 years as Production Manager
BE / Diploma - Mechanical Engineering

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
