Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned

Plant / Production Manager

to manage and oversee full plant operations for our

HVAC manufacturing facility

, specializing in

Air Handling Units (AHU)

,

ducting

, and

wall panels/doors for pharmaceutical clean rooms

. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing production in a manufacturing environment with a focus on HVAC systems and cleanroom components. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of production processes, and the ability to manage the entire manufacturing cycle. The candidate must be available for

Key Responsibilities:



Full Plant Operations Management

: Oversee daily operations for the manufacturing of

AHU

,

ducting systems

, and

wall panels/doors

used in pharmaceutical cleanrooms. Develop production schedules to ensure timely and efficient production, meeting the specific needs of both the HVAC and pharmaceutical sectors. Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely material availability.

Production Planning & Execution

: Develop, implement, and manage production plans that align with the company's goals and client timelines. Ensure production targets for

AHUs

,

ducting

, and

wall panels/doors

are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and throughput.

Quality Control & Process Optimization

: Enforce stringent quality control measures for all products, ensuring that

AHU systems

,

ducting

, and

pharmaceutical cleanroom components

meet industry standards such as

ASHRAE

for HVAC and

GMP

for pharma-related products. Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as

Lean Manufacturing

or

Six Sigma

to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve product quality. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards for cleanroom materials.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

: Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors, engineers, and floor workers, ensuring that all team members are well-trained and highly productive. Monitor workforce performance and ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained. Create a positive work environment that promotes high employee engagement and continuous learning.

Safety & Compliance

: Ensure that all plant operations comply with

safety

and

environmental regulations

, with a particular emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe production environment for cleanroom products. Promote a strong safety culture, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring that safety protocols are strictly followed. Oversee compliance with

ISO standards

and other relevant certifications for both HVAC and pharmaceutical product manufacturing.

Cost Control & Resource Management

: Manage production budgets, controlling operational costs, and ensuring that production processes remain cost-effective. Optimize the use of materials such as sheet metal, insulation, filters, and cleanroom materials (e.g., panels, doors) to minimize waste and improve cost-efficiency. Work closely with procurement to ensure the timely availability of raw materials required for both HVAC systems and cleanroom components.

Maintenance & Equipment Management

: Ensure that all production equipment is well-maintained and functioning efficiently, including specialized machinery for the production of wall panels and doors for cleanrooms. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure high operational efficiency. Evaluate and recommend new equipment or upgrades to meet production demands and enhance product quality.

Reporting & KPI Tracking

: Monitor production metrics such as

output

,

quality

,

downtime

, and

production efficiency

across all product lines. Provide detailed reports to senior management, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggesting areas for improvement. Use production data to drive decision-making and improve plant performance.

Qualifications:



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferably with experience in HVAC systems, cleanroom technologies).

Experience

: Minimum of 8 years of experience in full plant management and production within an

HVAC

and/or

cleanroom product manufacturing

environment, specifically in the production of

AHUs

,

ducting

, and

wall panels/doors

for pharmaceutical companies. Strong knowledge of HVAC and cleanroom manufacturing processes, with experience adhering to industry standards such as

ASHRAE

and

GMP

.

Skills

: Expertise in production planning, quality control, and plant operations. Strong leadership abilities with proven experience managing cross-functional teams. Knowledge of

ERP systems

for production management and reporting.
