The Production Incharge will be responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing all manufacturing operations related to
Chelated Micronutrients
and
Amino Acid / Protein Hydrolysate
products (both liquid and powder forms). This role requires deep technical expertise in complex chemical and biological synthesis processes, rigorous adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, and proven leadership in achieving high efficiency and superior product quality.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Process Management & Optimization (Chelated Micronutrients
and
Amino Acid/Protein Hydrolysates
.
)
Process Execution:
Directly manage the execution of batch production schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective output of finished goods.
Technical Oversight (Chelated Micronutrients):
Provide technical expertise in complexation and chelation reactions (utilizing EDTA, DTPA, etc.) to guarantee precise metal-to-ligand ratios and product stability.
processes for proteins, meticulously controlling pH, temperature, and enzyme activity to achieve the desired
Degree of Hydrolysis (DH)
and amino acid profile.
Drying and Formulation:
Oversee critical post-reaction steps, including
spray drying, vacuum drying, and milling
, to ensure final powder products meet specifications for moisture, particle size, and flowability.
Efficiency:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (CI) focused on optimizing yield, reducing cycle time, and minimizing material waste specific to these complex formulations.
2. Quality, Safety, and Compliance
Quality Assurance (QA):
Ensure all production batches strictly adhere to internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements for agricultural inputs.
Analytical Coordination:
Coordinate with the QC Lab for timely and accurate analysis of in-process samples.
Safety :
Enforce stringent safety protocols for handling concentrated acids, bases, and specialized biological materials. Ensure compliance with all regional and national safety and environmental regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain meticulous batch production records, equipment logs, and MOC (Management of Change) documentation for all process adjustments.
3. Leadership and Resource Management
Supervision:
Lead, train, and mentor a team of shift supervisors and plant operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
Resource Allocation:
Optimize the deployment of manpower, utilities, and raw materials to maximize
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison between Production, Quality Control (QC), Maintenance, and Planning teams.
III. Required Qualifications and Experience
Experience:
10+ years
of progressive experience in production supervision within the
chemical, specialty chemical, or agrochemical manufacturing
sector.
Specialized Expertise:
Mandatory expertise
in the commercial-scale manufacturing of
Chelated Micronutrients
(metallic chelation) and/or
Amino Acid / Protein Hydrolysate
products.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Process Engineering
is required.
Technical Skills:
Proven ability to manage reactors, complex filtration/separation systems (e.g., ultrafiltration), and various drying technologies.
Compliance:
Deep knowledge of
