Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily food production activities.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and timelines.
Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and train kitchen/production staff.
Allocate tasks and monitor performance.
Ensure discipline, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs.
Quality & Hygiene Control:
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Conduct regular inspections of workstations, equipment, and raw materials.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
Inventory & Cost Management:
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely requisition of raw materials.
Control wastage and manage cost-effective operations.
Maintain accurate records of consumption and production.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to FSSAI/ISO/HACCP or other food safety guidelines.
Maintain production reports, wastage reports, and staff attendance.
Report operational challenges and suggest improvements to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's / Diploma in Food Technology, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in food production or kitchen operations (QSR, Catering, Food Processing preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and hygiene practices.
