The Production Incharge will be responsible for overseeing daily food production operations to ensure timely, hygienic, and high-quality output. This role includes supervising staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing shifts efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily kitchen/production operations and staff across assigned shifts.
Ensure all meals are prepared on time and meet hospital quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Maintain records of production volumes, wastage, and consumption.
Coordinate with procurement and stores for raw material availability.
Monitor equipment usage, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Maintain daily shift schedules and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
Enforce SOPs and food safety guidelines (FSSAI).
Address staff queries, shift issues, and resolve production bottlenecks.
Assist in training and performance evaluation of production staff.
Report shift-wise activities and challenges to management.
Shift Timings:
Shift 1:
3:00 AM to 1:00 PM (No Break)
Shift 2:
10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Break from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM)
Candidate should be flexible to work in any of the two shifts as per rotation or management requirement.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in food production supervision (preferably catering).
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
Leadership and team coordination skills.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
