with extensive exposure to the apparel manufacturing industry. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling end-to-end garment production operations to ensure timely delivery, optimal productivity, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet delivery timelines and production targets.
Oversee end-to-end production processes including cutting, stitching, washing, finishing, and packing.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Coordinate closely with merchandising, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor production efficiency, line balancing, and WIP movement to reduce bottlenecks and delays.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and compliance requirements on the shop floor.
Analyze production reports, efficiency data, and rejection levels; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors and line leaders to achieve consistent performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2 - 20 years of proven experience as Production Incharge or in a senior production role in apparel manufacturing.
Strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and production planning techniques.
Expertise in line balancing, SMV calculations, productivity improvement, and cost control.
Hands-on experience in handling high-volume production and multiple styles simultaneously.
Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing large shop-floor teams.
Good understanding of quality standards, buyer requirements, and factory compliance norms.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Immediate availability and flexibility to work as per production demands.

Experience in export-oriented garment units
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and efficiency improvement tools
Strong reporting and coordination skills
