Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Production Head to oversee end-to-end production, quality, inventory, compliance, and team management in a fast-growing FMCG environment (preferably spices/masala industry).
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute production schedules; ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery & materials.
Oversee raw materials, packaging & finished goods inventory; maintain FIFO, batch tracking & stock accuracy.
Ensure product quality, hygiene, and compliance with FSSAI standards.
Supervise operations across cleaning, grinding, blending, roasting & packaging lines.
Coordinate maintenance and improve SOPs for productivity and efficiency.
Lead, train, and manage shop-floor workforce; ensure proper shift planning.
Control wastage, downtime & rework; support capacity expansion.
Maintain production logs, batch records & MIS reports.
Candidate Requirements
7-10 years in food manufacturing (mandatory); spice/masala industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of spice-processing machinery, production planning & inventory management.
Excellent leadership, communication & problem-solving skills.
Proactive, responsible, and capable of independent decision-making.
