Role Overview:

The Production Head will lead and oversee all aspects of thermoplastic road

marking paint manufacturing, ensuring high-quality output, regulatory compliance,

operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role demands deep technical

expertise in thermoplastic paint production, process control, and equipment

management, along with strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

KRAs:

- Production Management:

o Lead every operational activity which are related to Production of Road

Marking Paints.

- Production Planning & Execution:

o Implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules according to

the management instructions.

o Ensure optimal utilization of machineries, manpower & materials

o And Minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.

- Quality Assurance & Compliance:

o Maintain strict adherence to MoRT&H, IRC & other relevant standards for

Road Marking Paints.

o Oversee in-process and final product quality checks.

o Ensure compliance with EHS regulations.

- Inventory & Material Management:

o Monitor stock levels of raw materials, production consumables and others

o Coordinate with procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

o Implement FIFO/LIFO systems to reduce waste and expiry losses.

- Cost Control & Efficiency:

o Identify and implement cost-saving measures in production.

o Monitor Manpower, Energy and Material consumption metrics.

o Reduce rework, scrap, and process inefficiencies.

- Team Leadership & Development:

o Lead, Motive, Supervise and train production supervisors and workers.

o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

o Conduct performance reviews and skill development sessions.

- Maintenance & Equipment Reliability:

o Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules are followed.

o Coordinate with machine operator to reduce machine downtime.

o Maintain records of equipment performance and service history.

- Safety & Environmental Stewardship:

o Enforce safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery.

o Conduct regular safety drills and audits.

o Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste and compliance with pollution

norms.

- Reporting & Documentation:

o Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and quality reports.

o Present daily/weekly/monthly production metrics to senior management.

o Document deviations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement

initiatives.

- Customer & Project Coordination:

o Liaise with sales, projects & site operations teams to align production with

demand.

o Ensure timely delivery of paint batches for road marking projects.

o Address customer feedback related to product performance or quality.
