Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Managing PPC functions including Develop daily/weekly/monthly production plans based on order forecasts.

Allocate resources (manpower, materials, machines) efficiently and ensure smooth workflow across departments.

Oversee production processes: Metal cutting, deep drawing, spinning, press shop activities, Welding and assembling, Polishing, Non-stick coating, Packing and dispatch

Ensure optimum machine utilization and minimize downtime. Enforce quality standards for cookware and utensils (stainless steel grade, thickness, finishing, safety compliance). Work closely with QA team to reduce rejection rates and customer complaints. Lead supervisors, line leaders, and shop-floor workers. Train workforce on best practices, safety, and productivity improvement. Manage attendance, shift planning, and performance evaluations. Implement Kaizen, 5S, and lean practices. Identify bottlenecks and introduce process improvements. Reduce wastage of metal sheets, coatings, consumables, and utilities. Work with the maintenance team to ensure machines run efficiently. To Schedule preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns. Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure availability of raw materials such as steel/aluminum sheets, handles, coatings, packaging materials. Maintain and present reports on production output, efficiency, wastage, manpower utilization, and downtime analysis. Support management with data for forecasting and decision-making.

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of cookware/utensils manufacturing processes. Excellent leadership and team-handling skills. Production planning & workflow management. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Familiarity with ERP/ MS Office

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

5-10 years of experience

in cookware, utensils, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing industries with large scale production background.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
