Job Summary

:

The Production Head in shipbuilding oversees and manages all production activities to ensure the efficient and cost-effective construction of vessels that meet quality standards and project deadlines. This role involves team leadership, resource planning, compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead and manage the production team to deliver shipbuilding projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.

Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Monitor project progress, troubleshoot production issues, and take corrective action as necessary to maintain project timelines.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of production plans.

Manage resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.4

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Maintain detailed records and reports of production activities, performance metrics, and project outcomes.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety within the production workforce.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and senior management, to provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

More than 15 years of experience in shipbuilding production or a related industry.

Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, tools, and technologies.

Proven track record of managing large-scale shipbuilding projects.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in production planning software and tools.

Strong understanding of safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements in the shipbuilding industry.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?2,400,000.00 - ?2,800,000.00 per year
