to lead and manage end-to-end dairy production operations at Made of Milk. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality, optimize processes, maintain compliance with FSSAI and other regulatory standards, and drive efficiency across production lines while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the dairy production plant.
Plan, monitor, and control production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.
Ensure maximum utilization of raw milk and other resources with minimal wastage.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
Implement and monitor strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain product excellence.
Process Optimization
Improve production efficiency through process automation, lean manufacturing, and cost control.
Troubleshoot operational issues and introduce innovative solutions.
Monitor KPIs (yield, downtime, wastage, etc.) to ensure targets are achieved.
Team Leadership
Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and teamwork.
Provide training and development to improve team skills and efficiency.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Monitor inventory levels of raw milk, ingredients, and packaging materials.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure cold chain and logistics efficiency for finished products.
Strategic Contribution
Work closely with senior management to align production with business goals.
Participate in new product development and scaling up production for launches.
Control budgets, reduce operational costs, and maximize profitability.
Requirements
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in dairy production, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of dairy processing (milk, cheese, paneer, butter, yogurt, etc.).
Expertise in FSSAI regulations, HACCP, and quality management systems.
Proven ability to manage large teams and complex production units.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
