Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management

Oversee daily production operations and ensure on-time completion of orders. Plan and manage production schedules, workflow, and manpower allocation. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Process Optimisation

Analyse current production processes and introduce improvements for higher productivity and reduced wastage. Implement modern manufacturing practices and efficient workflow systems.

Quality Assurance

Maintain premium quality standards specific to exotic/high-end furniture. Conduct quality checks and resolve defects or deviations immediately.

Team Leadership

Lead and manage carpenters, polishers, upholsterers, machine operators, and other production staff. Ensure discipline, productivity, and a safe working environment. Conduct training and skill development where required.

Inventory & Resource Management

Coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate stock of materials, tools, and hardware. Oversee machine upkeep and reduce equipment downtime.

Cross-functional Coordination

Work closely with design, procurement, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations. Prepare and present production performance reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10-15 years of

mandatory experience in furniture manufacturing

, preferably exotic or luxury furniture. Strong technical knowledge in woodwork, joinery, finishing, polishing, upholstery, and high-end furniture craftsmanship. Proven experience in production optimisation and team management. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines.
