Take the Lead in Production Planning & Operations - Empower Efficiency, Quality, and Growth

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling:

Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer requirements.

Departmental Coordination:

Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams for smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

Capacity Planning:

Evaluate plant capacity, recommend improvements, and optimize resources for efficient utilization.

Risk & Issue Management:

Identify potential challenges, implement emergency plans, and resolve production-related issues promptly.

Manpower & Team Management:

Handle workforce allocation effectively and recruit new manpower (workmen and staff) to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Quality:

Control external and internal complaints, identify root causes, and take corrective actions by implementing quality tools.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to cosmetic industry standards, ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, and safety regulations.

Process Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.

Lead Time Management:

Reduce lead time by implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts and monitor lead times for raw materials, production, and dispatch.

Downtime Management:

Control and minimize downtime by tracking MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) while implementing preventive measures.

Delivery Performance:

Ensure adherence to customer delivery schedules.

Inventory Control & Optimization:

Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock, reducing wastage, and aligning raw material availability with production schedules.

5S & Kaizen:

Implement 5S and foster a Kaizen culture to improve workplace efficiency and safety.

Cost Control:

Track and control production costs, implementing cost-effective methods without compromising quality.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate production records, schedules, reports, and inventory updates for management review.

Qualifications

:

Strong knowledge of

Cosmetic Manufacturing Processes.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, or equivalent. Familiarity with ERP software for production planning related activities. Excellent skills in production scheduling, capacity planning, and manpower management. Prior experience in cosmetics, FMCG, pharma, or lifestyle industries preferred. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle large-scale operations. Team player with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
