Job Description

We are hiring a Production Floor Supervisor with strong expertise in fabrication, welding, pressure vessel manufacturing, and heavy engineering production. This role will oversee shop floor operations, manage production teams, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain strict quality standards for our industrial strainer and filtration product lines.

Designation: Production Floor Supervisor - Fabrication & Heavy Engineering

Salary: 20 - 45k

Exp - 5-10 years

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily fabrication, welding (SMAW/GTAW), machining, and assembly activities.

Ensure production schedules are met with maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Coordinate with production planning, purchase, and quality control teams to meet project timelines.

Oversee quality control and compliance with ISO, ASME, PED, and NACE standards.

Conduct toolbox talks, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a hazard-free shop floor.

Monitor pressure vessel fabrication, pipe spool assembly, and heavy equipment manufacturing processes.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rejection rates.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.

Experience: 5-8 years in heavy fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, or industrial equipment production (preferably strainers/valves/piping systems).

Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and machining operations.

Hands-on experience in shop floor supervision, production planning, and manpower allocation.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP production modules preferred.

Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
