Supervise and coordinate the activities of production to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
Ensure production schedules are met.
Monitor production processes to maximize productivity and minimize waste or downtime.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
Review production orders and provide updates to the management team on production progress, quality issues, and any obstacles.
Train, coach, and mentor production staff.
Ensure product quality standards are met and work with quality control teams to resolve any quality issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and lean manufacturing practices.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Manage and resolve conflicts within the production team and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
