Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Execute daily production plans as per approved batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR). Supervise manufacturing activities of Ayurvedic formulations (tablets, syrups, churnas, oils, capsules, etc.). Ensure compliance with

GMP, AYUSH, and regulatory guidelines

. Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality and yield. Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams for in-process checks. Maintain accurate production documentation, logbooks, and batch records. Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of raw materials and finished goods. Monitor equipment operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Implement safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor. Identify and report deviations, breakdowns, or quality issues promptly. Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. Assist in continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives. Train and guide production operators and helpers.

Qualifications:

B.Pharm (Ayurveda) / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Botany, or related field)

Diploma or certification in GMP or pharmaceutical production is an added advantage.

Experience:

1-3 years

of experience in Ayurvedic or Herbal Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Freshers with relevant training may also be considered

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of Ayurvedic formulations and manufacturing processes Understanding of GMP, AYUSH regulations, and documentation practices Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems preferred)
