Job Description

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Ensure availability of raw materials, labor, and machinery for uninterrupted production. Monitor and control production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. Supervise production processes and ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Identify and troubleshoot process deviations and machine breakdowns. Optimize workflow to reduce waste and increase productivity. Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) to ensure product quality meets standards. Ensure proper documentation of quality reports and process inspections. Implement corrective actions in case of quality deviations. Supervise and guide production operators, technicians, and support staff. Ensure adherence to factory discipline. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods. Coordinate with the head office team for timely availability of materials. Minimize resource wastage and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce the use of PPE and safety protocols. Maintain records for statutory audits and inspections. Prepare and maintain production reports, downtime analysis, and efficiency metrics. Maintain daily shift logs and handover notes. Assist in preparation of MIS (Management Information System) reports.
