Required Sr Production Executive with minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a snack, food, beverage manufacturing environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Food technology, Food Science.
At least 1.5 years in a supervisory role within the Snack or high-speed Food/Beverage FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Operations & Efficiency
Execution of Schedule: Directly manage and coordinate the daily production plan, ensuring targets for volume, yield, and on-time completion are met while maintaining product specifications (e.g., proper seasoning, fry time, package integrity).
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators such as
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), waste/scrap ratio, labour efficiency, and throughput. Implement corrective actions to address variances.
Resource Management: Optimize the use of raw materials, labour, and utilities to minimize costs and maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
Equipment Management: Coordinate with the Maintenance department to schedule preventative maintenance and ensure rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
2. Quality and Food Safety Compliance
GMPs and SOPs: Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the production floor, including sanitation, allergen control, and changeover protocols.
Quality Checks: Oversee in-process quality checks (e.g., weight control, seal integrity, moisture content, sensory testing) and promptly address any deviations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and federal food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA/FSSAI), reporting any issues immediately to the Quality Assurance team.
3. Team Leadership and Development
Supervision: Manage, train, and mentor Supervisors, Team Leaders, and hourly production personnel across shifts.
Safety Champion: Enforce all plant safety rules (OSHA standards) and lead efforts to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, driving down Incident Rates.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, manage disciplinary actions, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous skill improvement.
Communication: Serve as the primary communication link between the floor teams and the Plant Head or Senior Management.
4. Continuous Improvement
Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for production issues, quality failures, and safety incidents.
Initiatives: Drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and efficiency projects focused on reducing changeover times (SMED), improving flow, and reducing bottlenecks
