Supervise day-to-day in-house production processes to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of products.
Coordinate with the production team to monitor production schedules, track progress, and resolve any production bottlenecks.
Maintain quality control standards, ensuring products meet specifications and compliance with company standards.
Ensure production targets are met while minimizing waste, downtime, and inefficiencies.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods in coordination with the warehouse and procurement departments.
Implement and maintain safety standards in the production area.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Out-house Production Management:
Coordinate with external vendors or manufacturers to ensure outsourced production meets company quality standards and deadlines.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Review and manage contracts with external production partners, ensuring adherence to terms, timelines, and budgets.
Regularly inspect outsourced production facilities for compliance with quality, safety, and ethical standards.
Ensure effective communication between internal and external teams to track production progress, address issues, and implement solutions.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers for out-house production, ensuring they align with the company's quality, cost, and timeline standards.
Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with external vendors to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring the best possible value for the company.
Monitor vendor performance, ensuring timely delivery of materials, quality products, and adherence to agreements.
Resolve any vendor-related issues and address performance concerns to maintain strong business relationships.
Evaluate vendors periodically and provide feedback to improve their service and performance.
Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment on vendor expectations and payment terms.
Quotation Management:
Prepare, review, and manage quotations for both in-house and out-house production projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company budgets and customer requirements.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and finance teams to gather necessary data for creating quotations.
Analyze and assess cost structures for proposed production processes, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency.
Respond to customer or internal requests for quotations in a timely manner, ensuring all details are clearly defined.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms in quotations.
Track and manage all quotations to ensure they align with project timelines and budgets.
Provide accurate cost estimates for new production projects, factoring in all variables including materials, labor, shipping, and overhead.
Team Management:
Supervise, train, and guide the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Develop and implement performance metrics for team members and regularly evaluate performance.
Provide ongoing support and motivation to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding for production team members as required.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular production reports, highlighting key performance indicators such as output, quality, downtime, and cost efficiency.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all production processes, including internal and external production records.
Assist in preparing forecasts and production plans to meet demand.
Process Improvement:
Continuously identify areas for improvement within both in-house and out-house production processes.
Implement best practices and lean manufacturing techniques to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Drive innovation by recommending new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance production capacity and quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the tech or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and manufacturing techniques.
Experience in both in-house and out-house production management is highly preferred.
Proven experience in vendor management, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Experience in quotation management, including cost estimation, contract negotiation, and budget alignment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in production planning software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Familiarity with ERP software and production management tools.
Knowledge of international production standards and regulations.
Previous experience working with third-party manufacturers or outsourcing production.

Full-time position
Regular hours with occasional flexibility required to meet production deadlines or to manage out-house production schedules.
