Designation: Production Engineer(Fabrication)

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech./ Diploma- Mechanical

Experience: 8-12yrs

Location: Umbergaon

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and supervise fabrication production activities including cutting, welding, grinding, and assembly operations.
Develop and optimize fabrication processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Monitor and maintain fabrication equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and minimizing downtime.
Implement quality control measures to meet engineering drawings and client specifications.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product manufacturability and resolve technical issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for fabrication defects and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and update work instructions, process flow charts, and SOPs related to fabrication processes.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies within the fabrication shop floor.
Coordinate with procurement for raw materials and tooling requirements.
Support the introduction of automation and advanced fabrication techniques.
Track and report key production metrics such as cycle times, yield, and equipment utilization.
